Following our appointment to refurbish an existing 50 bed care home on Grainger Park Road, Newcastle to a 20 bed specialist nursing care home, the scheme was successfully handed over at the end of August 2020.

The home now consists of 20 large bedrooms across 2 floors with each having their own ensuite facilities, there are also 2 one-bedroom apartments located on the ground floor of the home designed to provide a pathway into independent living, each floor also consists of a communal dining room, lounge and quiet areas as well as a large activity room on the ground floor overlooking the rear south facing garden.

The three storey home was completed on time and within budget under challenging restrictions due to the pandemic causing us to constantly review our processes in line with government guidelines and construction leadership councils protocols.
