Refurbishment works have just completed on Castleford care home, a specialist nursing care home for Exemplar Health Care after 12 months on site.

The home supports adults living with high acuity needs including complex mental health, dementia, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.

The ground floor of the home has been renovated to create staff offices, extra staff facilities and a catering kitchen. The car park has also been expanded to accommodate extra staff vehicles.

The home consists of 24 large adapted bedrooms – each with an en-suite wet room. The project has also added two new apartments to facilitate four new service users with assisted living needs.

The home has communal dining and living spaces, laundry, assisted bathrooms, catering kitchen, offices, and staff rooms including an accessible garden.
