Birch Park Care Home is a special type of care home, purpose-built and providing affordable, independent living in a welcoming, homely environment. The home is well situated on Serpentine Road, in Cleckheaton within close proximity of the local amenities including shops, schools and the town centre.

The home has 86 generously-sized en-suite bedrooms, plus a beauty salon, cinema, cafe, bar and multi-activity room – all the benefits you can expect from a Darrington Healthcare home.

The contract build period was 58 weeks and commenced on the 23rd April 2018 with hand over on the 3rd June 2019. During the build process, as with all Walter Thompson projects, it had regular visits from the Considerate Constructors Scheme and managed an average score of 41.5/ 50.
