Hucknall Care Home Completion
17th May 2019
Walter Thompson have recently completed a new purpose-built 74 bed Care Home for Crown Care Group on a former print works site.
New Purpose Build Care Home
Hucknall
Beaumont House recently handed over on time after a 57 week project duration and is soon to open its doors to its first residents.
The home is a traditional construction with face brickwork/rendered blockwork external walls and blockwork internal walls over 3.5 storeys with the lower ground floor being a split level to accommodate the sloping site. The bedrooms include three styles from standard to studio all the way up to premium which boast the largest square footage and extra facilities.
The close proximity of the neighbours meant that Phillip Gallagher (Senior Site Manager) had to liaise with and maintain extremely good relations throughout the duration of the project. The below letter is from the Lead Minister of the nearby church:
Dear Phillip,
I thought it would be good to write on behalf of the church to express our gratitude to you for being such good neighbours.
We have appreciated the kind and helpful attitude of you and your staff and your interest in our community. It is great to have been able to link you up with local stakeholders so that you can make a contribution to our community. I am especially grateful for the experience you have given to the Syrian refugees – Ayman and Yayah.
We are glad that you will be with us for some months.
If there is anything we can do to help you please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours truly
Rev Simon J. Robinson M.A
Lead Minister
